Administer, secure, tune, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL instances across environments. Implement backups, disaster recovery, high‑availability/replication solutions, migrations, and capacity planning. Automate tasks with scripting, support incident response and on‑call rotations, collaborate with developers on schema and query optimization, and maintain documentation, governance, and compliance evidence.

Support HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, training, I-9 audits, unemployment claim management, compliance with employment law, reporting, and assisting HR Manager on retention and attendance initiatives.

Support accounting and production financial tasks: assist Controller and Accounting Manager with yields, GL entries, product costing, variance analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliations, and preparation of the annual operating plan. Monitor and report yield performance and perform related duties as assigned.

Prepare and send customer invoices, reconcile bank activity and intercompany entries, monitor A/R aging, investigate and resolve payment deductions/credits, set up new customers, create credit memos, and provide regular updates to management while supporting the Accounting Manager.

Manage engineering activities across six complex facilities, support operations to drive continuous improvement, design and implement process improvements, act as project manager for assigned projects (scope, schedule, budget), communicate with all management levels, and perform other related duties. Travel, weekend and overnight work required as needed.

Process vendor accounts payable invoices, match purchase orders and receivers, code invoices to GL accounts, resolve vendor statement discrepancies, prepare and file checks, support accrual calculations, and assist accounting management with related tasks.

Lead financial reporting and analysis for special projects, audits, and insurance claims. Review transactions and asset valuations, track costs, support budgeting and forecasting, coordinate with auditors and claims adjusters, perform internal audits and variance analyses, and assist in training accounting staff while driving process improvements.
