Supports sales, vendors, and strategic accounts for PLC and HMI technologies. Develops marketing and sales strategies, manages vendor relationships, product inventory, availability, and ESG requirements. Trains sales and support personnel, maintains product support infrastructure, qualifies customer service needs, and creates service procedures. Requires engineering expertise, assigned-product knowledge, customer application understanding, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Promotes and grows Hoffman enclosure products across Southeast Michigan. Develops sales plans, manages target accounts, supports customer calls, follows up on leads, coordinates promotions, drives specification activity, handles quotes and orders, monitors service performance, conducts product training, and serves as the branch’s primary Hoffman product expert.

Maintains customer pricing records and vendor contracts, analyzes special pricing agreements, establishes pricing matrices, resolves pricing discrepancies, and submits and reconciles high-volume rebate claims. Collaborates with sales, vendors, accounts payable, and finance on contract changes and rebate issues. Updates procedures, supports quality initiatives, and performs detailed analysis using Microsoft Excel and Access.

Provides legal counsel on contracts, business transactions, compliance, and risk management. Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and administers commercial agreements; advises business units; monitors legal and regulatory changes; supports dispute resolution; develops contract lifecycle management practices; trains stakeholders; and collaborates with finance, procurement, operations, internal legal teams, and external counsel.

Supports contractor and commercial customers by preparing quotes, managing orders, coordinating deliveries, sourcing electrical products, expediting shipments, and communicating order updates. Partners with outside sales representatives, vendors, purchasing, operations, finance, and materials teams to resolve issues and meet project timelines. The role also identifies additional product opportunities and provides pricing, availability, and product support for electrical distribution materials.

Supervises regional Customer Alliance Program operations, including team coaching, customer account setup and maintenance, inventory performance reviews, process improvement, and support for sales activities. Partners with Account Managers on presentations, pricing, and implementation; visits customer sites to identify growth opportunities and ensure satisfaction. The role also facilitates meetings, maintains program resources, and supports quality and operational initiatives.

Develops new customer accounts and expands existing relationships through phone and digital outreach. Manages account planning, pricing, quotes, product recommendations, customer requests, order tracking, and sales initiatives. Negotiates commercial terms while protecting margins, establishes e-store accounts, identifies upselling opportunities, and coordinates with engineering, marketing, vendors, and internal teams to grow revenue and profitability.

Supports sales, customer solutions, vendor relationships, product availability, technical training, service procedures, and integration issue resolution for assigned industrial controls products. Develops customer and vendor strategies, supports product marketing, maintains technical infrastructure, and travels occasionally to customer locations as needed.

Engineers and coordinates engineered solutions projects, serving as the primary technical customer contact and supporting sales pursuits. Responsibilities include panel design, electrical code compliance, project planning, cost estimation, proposals, scheduling, quality management, supplier relationships, and technical team mentorship. The role may act as project manager for assigned projects and requires managing multiple disciplines, customer obligations, design deviations, and delivery issues.

Manages customer orders, pricing, delivery, product support, and order changes while coordinating with sales, purchasing, operations, finance, and materials teams. Researches suppliers, negotiates pricing, tracks shipments, supports customer projects, resolves non-conformances, and identifies upselling opportunities. Maintains customer satisfaction, accurate billing, inventory availability, and timely delivery while following quality and safety procedures.
