Coordinates the Secretary of State’s workers’ compensation program, managing injury and illness claims, records, leave decisions, return-to-work arrangements, OSHA reporting, medical billing, and communications with employees, departments, third-party administrators, attorneys, medical providers, and risk management personnel. Maintains claims databases and files, monitors compliance and payments, supports hearings and litigation, and ensures proper retention or destruction of records.
