Provides litigation support to attorneys including case maintenance, legal research, drafting motion papers and court filings, e-discovery and document review, preparing exhibits, managing deposition transcripts/videos, cite-checking, and mentoring junior paralegals. Coordinates filings, vendors, and production logistics; may require overtime and travel.

Provide secretarial, technical, and organizational support to lawyers and managerial staff: draft and proof documents, manage calendars, calls, mail, travel, billing and expenses, organize meetings, cover reception, and complete assigned special projects while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Support IP, Commercial Transactions and Advisory practices by developing and implementing business development initiatives: draft partner communications, manage proposals/RFPs and legal directory submissions, maintain matter and pitch databases, conduct market and competitive research, assemble client plans, coordinate events and sponsorships, collaborate with BI/PR/Marketing, and mentor junior BD colleagues.

Oversee day-to-day HR operations for the firm's California offices. Partner with CHRO, office leadership, and HR centers to set regional HR priorities. Support full talent lifecycle, employee relations, compliance with local employment laws, wellness and engagement programming, policy adoption, and special HR projects.

Provide first- and second-level technical support to firm users via phone, email, and walk-ins; troubleshoot hardware and software; escalate and follow up on tickets; participate in rollouts/upgrades and training; cover extended hours as needed and maintain effective communication with IT teams and users.

Lead and execute public relations and external/internal communications for the firm’s California offices. Manage media relations, draft press releases and website content, cultivate journalist relationships, coach lawyers on messaging, and support brand-building and reporting efforts.

Supervise and coordinate a night shift team of word processors, document specialists, and proofreaders. Assign and monitor work, troubleshoot documents, maintain logs and personnel records, perform evaluations, ensure staffing, provide customer service and support off-hour requests, and implement departmental procedures.
