The role partners with engineers, executives, recruiting, creative teams, and leadership to translate complex technical work into compelling content. Responsibilities also include supporting launches and announcements, managing visual content, and building an early-stage digital presence.

Build coupled fusion-device simulation models, radiation and surrogate models, diagnostic data pipelines, Bayesian inference systems, and uncertainty quantification tools. The role covers pulsed-power circuits, plasma dynamics, neutron and X-ray production, machine lifetime modeling, and HPC-enabled computation. The scientist will write production-grade numerical software, validate models against experimental diagnostics, document assumptions, and eventually grow a simulation team.

Design, commission, operate, and maintain high-vacuum cryopumping and 4 K liquid-helium cooling systems for a pulsed-power fusion facility. Responsibilities include cryogenic infrastructure management, vacuum diagnostics, instrumentation integration, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, safety procedures, pressure-vessel compliance, and staff training.

Designs, simulates, integrates, and commissions large-scale fluid systems for transformer oil and deionized water in a pulsed-power fusion facility. Responsibilities include fluid circuit design, CFD modeling, dielectric fluid management, water conditioning, thermal analysis, P&ID development, documentation, troubleshooting, and interdisciplinary integration with high-voltage, structural, vacuum, and pulsed-power teams.

Work directly with the CEO and executive team on high-priority, ambiguous initiatives. Responsibilities include organizing cross-functional projects, creating structure and follow-through, and handling evolving business needs such as events, facilities, recruiting, communications, customer initiatives, investor preparation, and supply chain. The role requires strong initiative, accountability, communication, adaptability, and willingness to work extended hours, weekends, relocate to San Leandro, and occasionally travel.

Leads end-to-end operations for Fuse’s Albuquerque radiation effects testing site, overseeing people, scheduling, facilities, safety, compliance, customers, vendors, contractors, maintenance, staffing, and budgets. Builds scalable operating processes, coordinates technical and business teams, manages risks, supports government contract execution, and drives site readiness and issue resolution. Requires full-time Albuquerque presence, extended hours when needed, and possible travel.

Lead growth across federal systems integrators and defense-prime organizations. Build executive and technical relationships, identify opportunities, develop strategic partner plans, refine value propositions, and convert integrations into programs and revenue. The role represents Fuse in the federal market, collaborates with engineering, business, capture, and delivery teams, and presents strategy to varied audiences. It is based in Washington, DC, requires relocation if needed, may involve travel, and may require obtaining a U.S. government security clearance.
