Lead bank-wide operational transformation by combining process re-engineering with digital automation and AI. Build business cases, partner with IT and vendors to deploy automation, track productivity and benefits, produce operational reports, lead matrixed teams, manage user requirements and testing, and present outcomes to senior management.

Act as strategic and execution partner to Head of Wealth Malaysia, driving business planning, performance tracking, governance, stakeholder coordination, and transformation initiatives across Wealth, Priority Banking, Bancassurance, Investment, Treasury, and Advisory. Leads centralized banking operations covering remittances, e-KYC and fraud mitigation, corporate online banking onboarding, regulatory reporting, compliance, risk management, process simplification, automation, and cost control. Manages SOPs, operational reviews, reporting, regulatory monitoring, UAT, vendor deliverables, and team development while improving efficiency, customer experience, and resource utilization.

Acquire deposit accounts from customers and businesses, especially payroll accounts, while generating leads for other banking products. Responsibilities include lead generation, sales proposals, client calls, relationship management, customer briefings, follow-up through account opening and sales closure, market research, competitor monitoring, sales events, and regulatory compliance. The role is branch-based and reports to the Branch Manager.

Participate in Hong Leong Bank’s Global Markets graduate training program by learning financial products and regulatory requirements, supporting client treasury solutions, improving client relationships and team workflows, and assisting with daily operations. Candidates must pass the four-module Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate examinations within six months of joining.

Supports the Business Channels team with sales performance tracking, productivity management, reporting, and operational initiatives. Leads balance sheet risk management across liquidity risk, IRRBB, ICAAP, stress testing, and climate change risk. Develops risk frameworks, monitors exposures and regulatory limits, oversees reporting, prepares ICAAP submissions, and presents stress-test and climate-risk findings to senior management and the Board. Partners with business stakeholders to integrate risk appetite and methodologies into strategic planning while managing and developing the risk team.

Manage treasury and money-market activities, including funding strategy, liquidity, balance-sheet management, surplus-fund investment, regulatory-ratio compliance, FX and Islamic treasury product pricing, client execution, deposit marketing, reporting, governance, and team development. The role requires collaboration with control functions and business units while supporting treasury systems, procedures, and business objectives.

Lead end-to-end IT strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management to optimize cost, ensure regulatory compliance (BNM RMiT), conduct TCO analyses, benchmark pricing, renegotiate contracts, coach procurement team, and support transformation and ESG initiatives.
