Lead and grow Make-A-Wish Michigan's major gifts program as a player-coach: manage your own high-potential donor portfolio, build pipelines, research and qualify prospects, execute individualized cultivation and solicitation strategies, meet new-donor revenue goals, coach the major gifts team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and track outcomes and KPIs in Salesforce to drive sustainable philanthropic growth.

Hands-on finance manager responsible for accounting operations, cost accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and developing FP&A capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to inform leadership and drive cost optimization.

Manage a portfolio of prospective major donors to acquire first-time and early-stage major gifts. Prospect, research, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors; meet annual new-donor revenue goals; collaborate with cross-functional teams and volunteers; document activity and revenue projections in Salesforce; apply donor-centered fundraising best practices to expand the major gifts pipeline.

Support the Controller with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR/payroll accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, tax support, GAAP compliance, and ERP/process improvements.

Support the Chief Accountant by overseeing accounting operations, preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, managing grant accounting and SEFA reporting, coordinating audits, supervising staff, maintaining internal controls and the chart of accounts, and leading process improvements to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Lead design, configuration, and implementation of IFS Cloud and legacy IFS ERP solutions. Run discovery and design workshops, map business processes to IFS capabilities, minimize customization, support testing and go-live, and assist pre-sales activities. Build repeatable offerings and integrations while mentoring stakeholders and shaping the IFS practice.

Maintain and update standard costs, BOMs, and routings in the ERP; apply absorption costing and overhead allocation; perform job costing, cost rollups, and monthly close support; analyze material, labor, and overhead variances; support inventory valuation, cycle counts, reconciliations, and prepare cost reports and dashboards for operations and leadership.

Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, lead discovery, design and demonstrate Atlassian-based solutions (Jira, Confluence, JSM), translate needs into scalable architectures across Agile/ITSM/DevOps, provide presales technical validation, contribute to RFPs, and ensure continuity to delivery teams.

Lead client engagements to design and implement Atlassian-based ITSM/ESM and DevSecOps solutions. Advise on operating models, analyze processes, architect scalable integrations, drive adoption through training and change management, and support full solution lifecycle while partnering with sales to expand services.

Support residential shower and window orders by acting as the main customer contact: take orders, process payments, schedule estimates and installations, coordinate vendors and technicians, maintain CRM records, resolve issues, conduct follow-ups, and support upselling while ensuring compliance and smooth collaboration with sales and installation teams.
