The Senior Software Engineer will enhance Attentive's event streaming platform, architect high-throughput systems, improve tools for product teams, and tackle complex distributed challenges. Responsibilities include collaborating on messaging systems and modernizing the architecture.

Serve as the FP&A business partner for G&A functions (Finance, People, Legal, Facilities, Operations). Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, headcount planning, KPI definition, variance and driver analysis, financial modeling, monthly business reviews, and present insights to senior leaders. Improve FP&A processes and tooling and partner with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting.

Lead the Targeting product area: define vision and roadmap, build audience/segmentation and recommendation experiences, partner with Engineering, Data Science, Design and Customer Success, run discovery and experimentation, and measure/optimize product impact to simplify sophisticated targeting for marketers.

Own expansion and retention for strategic customers by building executive relationships, driving renewals and upsells, forecasting, negotiating pricing/contracts, presenting usage/ROI data, managing commercial inquiries, and partnering cross-functionally to close deals and grow account investment. Travel up to 25%.

Lead development and maintenance of scalable backend and data systems for personalized messaging at scale. Partner with data scientists/ML engineers, optimize real-time and batch pipelines, improve experimentation and feedback loops, ensure reliability through best practices and on-call support, and ship high-performance, data-driven features.

Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for the NYC office: provide frontline support for AV, network, hardware, and access; resolve Jira Service Management tickets to SLA; manage laptop delivery, asset workflows, and e-waste; participate in sprint planning and own sprint tasks; escalate SEV1s and collaborate with Office Ops, Engineering, and Security; maintain documentation and drive process improvements. Hybrid role (on-site Tue-Thu).

The Staff Software Engineer will build and scale machine learning systems for personalization, collaborating with teams to enhance project quality and performance.

Lead and expand data partnerships (data warehouses, CDPs, identity solutions) end-to-end, align product and GTM strategies, drive joint revenue and integrations, and manage executive relationships to improve customer outcomes and partner-driven growth.

Sell Attentive's AI-driven MarTech solutions to enterprise retail and e-commerce brands. Own full sales cycle, build C-suite relationships, use consultative discovery to close multi-product deals, leverage CRM and cross-functional teams, attend industry events, and meet revenue targets.
