The Manufacturing Support Engineer will manage order processing, update manufacturing data, create work instructions, analyze drawings, and improve production efficiency in a metal manufacturing environment.

Design and deliver code-compliant electrical systems for warehouse automation and parcel sortation projects. Perform calculations, specify equipment, peer-review designs, document engineering decisions, support site surveys, installation and commissioning, and coordinate across disciplines using AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk tools.

Design, program, and commission PLC- and industrial PC-based automation and sortation systems. Develop control documentation, integrate with mechanical/electrical teams, lead site commissioning, train staff, troubleshoot, and support continuous improvement while ensuring safety compliance.

The Sales Layout Engineer designs technical layouts for sorting systems, collaborates with sales teams, and ensures project strategies are met while managing multiple projects.

Provide on-site and remote technical support for automated material handling systems. Troubleshoot PLC/LLC, IPC, electromechanical components, and industrial networks (Profibus, ASI, Profinet, TCP/IP). Analyze logs, commission, maintain systems, optimize performance, document incidents, and escalate complex issues. Support project work in the first year and travel up to 40% across North America, including extended onsite periods.

Manage complex employee relations caseload end-to-end, lead investigations, draft and implement employment policies, create manager toolkits, and deliver ER training. Provide risk-based advice, maintain audit-ready documentation, analyse ER trends, and support wider HR initiatives to ensure consistent, legally compliant people management.

Prepare accurate 2D/3D structural steel models and fabrication/shop drawings for airport projects using Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD. Perform take-offs, site surveys, generate installation documentation, support design changes, quantity reporting, and assist claims/variation assessments while ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and project requirements.

Lead Revit layout and BIM coordination for mechanical systems, manage 3D conveyor models, resolve clashes, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients/suppliers, estimate mechanical scope, and improve modeling workflows and documentation.

Manage accounts receivable Lead-to-Cash activities: prepare contract-compliant invoices, maintain invoicing schedules, monitor collections, reconcile accounts, interpret contracts, prepare project journal entries, partner with project and controlling teams, support process improvements, train staff, and back up FSSC NA team leads.

Design, develop, configure, integrate and commission low-level control (LLC) systems for material handling projects. Support PLC/SCADA programming, testing, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and cross-discipline integration while contributing to validation, documentation and continuous improvement.
