We are seeking a senior-level Revit Layout Engineer who can take ownership of modeling, clash coordination, and interface management. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, lead small layout teams, and act as the go-to person for Revit and BIM issues. This role also involves mentoring others, improving modeling workflows, and actively resolving complex coordination issues. Conveyor system knowledge is a plus but not a must.
Key ResponsibilitiesSystem & Layout Design- Lead Revit layout efforts during engineering and pre-sales phase.
- Translate functional requirements into efficient mechanical designs.
- Optimize layouts for safety, maintenance, and access.
- Coordinate interfaces with buildings, operators, equipment, and procurement.
- Contribute to layout standards and process improvements.
- Create and manage 3D conveyor models in Revit based on design inputs and extract 2D drawings.
- Review Revit and BIM deliverables and Maintain Documentation.
- Incorporate functional attributes and prepare equipment specifications.
- Ensure drawing and documentation quality across the team.
- Sound knowledge on BIM 360 Documentation
- Lead layout engineering teams and liaise with clients and suppliers.
- Support site activities including installation files, test plans, and as-built documentation.
- Estimate timelines, resources, and budgets for mechanical scope.
- Define mechanical work packages and manage delivery tracking.
- Act as Revit lead for the team; resolve advanced issues.
