The role involves designing, developing, and testing networking products, collaborating in an agile team, and maintaining documentation and product improvements.

Develop and optimize high-performance 5G NR Layer 2 baseband software, preferably scheduler modules. Collaborate with global teams throughout the product lifecycle, implement 5G and future 6G capabilities, and debug, test, and integrate features against industry and operator requirements. Participate in design and code reviews while applying expertise in C/C++, embedded systems, 3GPP standards, multi-core and multi-threaded programming, and performance optimization.

Integrate, test, troubleshoot, configure, upgrade, and expand Ericsson VoLTE, IMS, and 4G/5G core network solutions in customer environments. Develop and run test cases for ASIC verification, focusing on various interfaces and internal functionalities, while debugging and ensuring clean CI regression across multiple platforms.

Ensure configuration, upgrades, monitoring and troubleshooting of CS Core nodes. Review and resolve Trouble Tickets, Change Requests and Acceptance Tests daily. Enforce MSTOP, password and security policies and audits. Contribute to procedure and routine improvements. Work requires deep knowledge of signaling protocols and Ericsson/Huawei core network equipment.

Own physical-aware ASIC synthesis flows, constraint development, QoR optimization, and timing closure for high-performance, low-power SoCs. Execute floorplan-driven synthesis, integrate with place-and-route, analyze timing and congestion, manage technology libraries, perform equivalence checks, and support STA signoff across PVT corners. Collaborate with RTL, P&R, DFT, and design teams through tape-out readiness. The role requires expert Fusion Compiler skills, strong SDC and Tcl capabilities, and experience with advanced-node ASIC tape-outs.

Develop and maintain automated tests for 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software. Verify features, regression performance, and end-to-end functionality in simulated and real environments. Analyze logs, traces, and test results, troubleshoot defects, collaborate with developers and system engineers, and support root-cause investigations. Contribute to systemization, documentation, CI/CD, test automation, and maintaining delivery-ready test environments.
