The role is hybrid in Sunnyvale four days weekly, may require adjusted hours for other time zones, and includes occasional travel.

Leads and develops a regional team of enterprise sales engineers, providing coaching, technical training, customer engagement, escalation support, recruiting partnership, and deal strategy. The manager remains customer-facing and technically hands-on, evangelizes Proofpoint’s cybersecurity platform to technical and executive audiences, partners with account teams and service groups, and supports customer retention. The role requires 25–75% regional travel.

Provide enterprise-level technical support for email archiving software through phone and ticketing systems. Troubleshoot complex software, distributed systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, SMTP, configurations, and integrations.
