Hybrid role split ~50/50 between hands-on cloud-native Java microservices development and Scrum Master duties. Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production services; facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, mentor engineers, coordinate releases, and support operational troubleshooting for safety-critical FAA modernization programs. US citizenship and Public Trust eligibility required.

Hybrid role splitting time between hands-on development of cloud-native Java microservices and serving as Scrum Master. Responsibilities include design, coding, testing, CI/CD/DevSecOps practices, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, coordinating releases, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring junior engineers to deliver safety-critical FAA systems.

Administer, maintain, upgrade, and optimize enterprise databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle); design schemas and data models; build ETL and API integrations; support CI/CD and DevSecOps deployments; monitor health and performance, enforce security controls, manage multiple instances and data connections, and participate in Agile engineering and documentation. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.

Design, document, and implement secure enterprise networks; schedule and execute migrations; support Tier III operations and fault isolation; develop DISA STIG-compliant configurations and obtain ATOs; supervise network specialists; improve design processes; serve as escalation for enterprise outages across multiple segments.

Provide incident handling, triage, network analysis, threat detection, trend and metric development, and vulnerability dissemination. Leverage network telemetry, SIEMs, threat intelligence, and OSINT to identify adversary activity, document TTPs, recommend mitigations, and produce analytic summaries and situational awareness for DODIN stakeholders.

Monitor and triage cybersecurity events on a 24/7 watch floor, perform quality control, coordinate incident response and cross‑functional threat analysis, support orders and reporting, and leverage intelligence to reduce enterprise vulnerabilities.

Design and document CAN/LAN solutions, build BOMs and configs, test changes in a lab, schedule migrations, support operations troubleshooting, develop secure DISA STIG-compliant designs and obtain ATOs, supervise network specialists, and improve design processes. Opportunity to work with MPLS WANs.

Provide network engineering support for agency LAN and Wi‑Fi, maintain and upgrade wired/wireless infrastructure, manage Zscaler services and zero‑trust policies, monitor and resolve incidents, recommend technologies, produce documentation and reports, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain security posture and SLAs.

Develop, configure, integrate, and sustain Windows-based applications and interfaces. Support API and third-party integrations, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support to enable interoperability between sensors, communications, security platforms, and government infrastructure.

Provide NOC-focused computer support and system integration for COTS/GOTS equipment; manage CMDB change controls; troubleshoot servers, workstations, network appliances, datacenter issues; review network monitoring data, assess risks, remediate incidents, and document solutions in ticketing/knowledge systems.
