The Predesign Engineer will contribute to next-generation rotorcraft development by performing predesign studies, optimizing performance, and ensuring convergence of technical specifications. Responsibilities include leading studies on innovative technologies, sizing and costing aircraft systems, and delivering results through presentations to internal stakeholders.

Manage top-level and detailed scheduling for engineering activities, control deviations in schedule and budgets, follow up on interdependencies and planning, coordinate with other departments, support budgeting process, and propose new ideas.

Design and validate composites/hybrids components and assemblies for aircraft, optimize designs in terms of weight, cost, and performance, use Catia for digital mockup creation and documentation, solve installation problems, and prepare technical documents for certification.
