Provides first-point and escalated L2 technical support for payment terminals. The role requires German fluency, English proficiency, CRM expertise, and experience in payments, SaaS, financial services, or SMB sales.

Lead the DACH payment application strategy and roadmap for terminal software across form factors. Own release planning, certification sequencing, scheme and regulator alignment, terminal/estate management (VHQ), and cross-functional coordination with sales, engineering, and hardware to deliver compliant, market-ready payment solutions.

Coordinate and support delivery of small-to-medium payment solution projects in South Africa. Assist with project planning, risk monitoring, stakeholder communication, technical integration coordination, status reporting, and occasional on-site client support while contributing to team knowledge sharing and process improvement.

Design, operate, and optimize end-to-end streaming and batch data pipelines and the underlying platform. Manage Kafka clusters (including MSK), databases (Redis, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB), cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD, IaC, observability, and automation. Support migrations to Kubernetes, incident response, and security/compliance best practices while reducing operational toil through scripting and tooling.

Lead MySQL DBA responsible for designing, deploying, and managing high-availability MySQL clusters on-prem and in cloud (AWS). Ensure performance tuning, backups, HA/DR, zero-downtime upgrades, monitoring, security/compliance, automation (IaC and scripting), CI/CD support, and mentor engineers while collaborating with application and infrastructure teams.

Owns Verifone France’s integrated marketing strategy across digital, content, email, advertising, and events. Manages websites, campaign tracking, lead generation, nurture programs, funnel optimization, marketing automation, and performance reporting. Partners cross-functionally to improve lead quality, conversion, retention, pipeline, and ROI. The role requires strong analytical, project management, SEM copywriting, HTML, CRM, marketing automation, and advanced Excel skills.
