Senior software engineer responsible for designing and delivering backend services, APIs, data products, and pipelines supporting Marketplace and Nike Direct analytics. Leads technical design reviews, owns reliability and operational quality, mentors junior engineers, contributes to engineering standards, and collaborates with platform and globally distributed teams. The role requires strong backend or data engineering, cloud, distributed systems, modern data platform, observability, CI/CD, and technical leadership experience.

Build and support high-throughput, low-latency cloud-native microservices and order or product data platforms. Leads footwear cost and standards engineering, including seasonal quote management, cost optimization, cost breakdown validation, labor process standardization, and manufacturing partner collaboration. Translates category strategies into procurement plans, manages complex RFx events and supplier negotiations, evaluates spend, market, supplier, operational, and risk factors, and drives contract awards. Partners with stakeholders, Procurement Operations, finance, legal, and managed service providers to deliver value, manage risk, and implement effective procurement practices across global logistics.

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and adoption of platform capabilities supporting Nike’s global product creation ecosystem. Leads data and software engineering teams responsible for scalable data platforms, pipelines, APIs, microservices, and lakehouse architectures. Defines technical roadmaps, manages priorities and dependencies, ensures reliability, security, observability, governance, metadata, and data quality, and enables analytics and AI/ML through production-ready datasets. The role also develops engineering talent, partners with product and analytics leaders, and drives enterprise-scale modernization across merchandising and product creation.

Leads end-to-end procurement and category management for media, e-commerce, and market research across Greater China. Develops sourcing strategies, negotiates commercial agreements, manages supplier and agency relationships, mitigates risk, and delivers savings and process efficiencies.
