The Inside Sales Representative engages existing customers to boost product sales by processing orders, providing quotes, and enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive selling and effective communication.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will engage with existing customers to boost orders, enhance customer satisfaction, and collaborate with the outside sales team to meet sales targets.

Lead and manage an assigned sales region or channel to achieve sales and profit targets. Develop sales plans and strategies, forecast volumes, build supplier relationships, oversee order and account management, recruit and coach sales staff, and communicate results to senior management. Travel required (25-50%).

Manage and grow relationships with key named accounts, drive new business and renewals, develop strategic account plans with sales teams, manage opportunity pipeline, coordinate cross-functional solution development, and ensure customer satisfaction while reporting progress to management.

Support sales and supply chain by sourcing and forecasting inventory, developing pricing for value-added services, generating and reconciling reports, managing project lifecycle and pricing, liaising with vendors and sales, and analyzing data to improve project outcomes and efficiency.

Manage existing customer accounts via phone and email to obtain and up-sell orders, prepare quotations, enter and transfer orders to fulfillment, manage backorders and delivery dates, collaborate with outside sales, and report market and customer feedback to drive sales growth.

Lead payroll process strategy and architecture, design and implement process improvements, serve as Tier 4 escalation SME, ensure SOX/compliance readiness, lead Day 0 payroll kickoffs, perform audits/reconciliations, and train the payroll team.

Conduct face-to-face outside sales and account management to grow revenue and margin. Prospect, cold-call, present demos/proposals, prepare quotes, manage customer relationships, use sales tools, and travel extensively (50–75%). Build supplier relationships and support billing margin initiatives.

Develop new prospects and manage assigned accounts through face-to-face selling, presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations. Assess customer needs, provide quotations, grow product knowledge, and maintain supplier and customer relationships. Use sales tools to document opportunities, execute account plans, and meet sales revenue and margin objectives, with frequent local travel.
