Leads machining process engineering at a defense manufacturing operation, managing engineers and technicians, specifying CNC equipment, overseeing tooling and spare parts, and developing machining processes for production. Owns process maps, FMEAs, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drives root cause analysis, process optimization, quality improvements, and cost savings while collaborating with operations, quality, program teams, and repair contractors. Responsible for team development, technical guidance, engineering projects, and personnel management.
