Job SummaryLead a mixed team of Technicians and Engineers | Be the subject matter expert for all Machining process at GDOTS Lincoln Operations | Manage blanket Purchase Orders for all support tools and equipment | Specify CNC equipment needs, machine configurations, and spare parts list/inventory | Engage with Operations to solicit feedback | Own and regularly update Process Map, FMEA, and Control Plans for all core Machining Operations | Lead/Support root cause analysis when machining methods are not in a state of control | Work with program teams to develop detailed machining processes, instructions and tooling needed for development and production parts | Aid in troubleshooting CNC machine issues and coordinate with repair contractors Impact of the RoleGeneral Profile- Manages professional employees and/or supervisors

Experience mentoring and developing people. CNC Machining/G-Code Programming. Experience with specifying machine configurations. FMEAs & Control Plans. Experience leading/participating in problem solving (PDCA/A3/RCA). CAM Software (Surfcam, HSM Works, Mastercam). Experience with machining Composite Materials. Experience with Engineering drawings & GD&T
Required Qualifications- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership skills. CAD Software. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software. Continuous Improvement. Equipment Evaluation. Mathematical Modeling. Process Engineering. Process Mapping. Project Management. Requirements Engineering/Analysis. Statistical Process Control.
