Prepares sales and use tax, property tax, and tangible and intangible property filings; reviews tax exemptions, audits, and notices; reconciles income tax accounts; records tax payments, provisions, and credits; coordinates with outsourced tax partners; and supports special projects and compliance deadlines.

Partner with outside sales representatives to develop pipelines and close opportunities while communicating customer feedback and supporting quality processes.

Supports month-, quarter-, and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, consolidated financial statements, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency adjustments. Researches GAAP, maintains internal controls, supports audits, and collaborates with tax, operations, and finance teams. The role also identifies process improvements and provides reporting support to management across a multi-entity organization.

Develop and maintain production schedules using demand forecasts, inventory levels, capacity constraints, ERP systems, and MRP processes. Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams to support timely production and delivery. Monitor inventory, identify bottlenecks, create contingency plans, and apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and shorten lead times.

Manages receiving, warehousing, inventory, distribution, shipping compliance, facility maintenance, budgeting, staffing, training, and operational process improvements. Oversees warehouse employees through scheduling, coaching, hiring, performance management, and resource planning. Maintains inventory accuracy, monitors warehouse KPIs, enforces regulatory requirements, and ensures equipment and operations support customer and business objectives.

Creates accurate, production-ready steel fabrication drawings using CAD and DraftSight, incorporating field measurements, customer requirements, material optimization, and manufacturing tolerances. Coordinates with colleagues and customers to resolve design issues and obtain approvals. Programs and supports CNC, plasma, and other fabrication equipment, while participating in cutting, forming, fastening, and welding activities to produce finished metal products safely and efficiently.

Sells structural steel products through prospecting, customer relationship management, quoting, order execution, and ongoing account development. Coordinates deliveries, gathers market and competitor feedback, maintains accurate CRM records, and resolves customer concerns with internal quality and operations teams. The role requires regular travel to customer locations and strong communication, organization, computer, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
