We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency, meet demand forecasts, and maintain inventory control. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand planning, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement teams to align production plans with overall business goals.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to input, monitor, and adjust production data accurately.
- Manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Conduct forecasting activities to predict future demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
- Monitor inventory management and control processes to ensure stock levels meet production needs without excess.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and delivery of finished goods.
- Identify potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of scheduling activities for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
