The role tracks placement and long-term alumni outcomes, supports entrepreneurship, public leadership, research, graduate studies, and institution-building pathways, and explores AI tools for career discovery and opportunity matching. The Director reports placement and pathway metrics to the COO Office.

The Program Manager will plan and execute academic programs, events, and institutional initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating faculty and university departments, managing timelines, budgets, logistics, and documentation, tracking program performance, and preparing leadership reports and presentations. The role requires strong communication, organization, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced academic environment.

Build SASTech’s external engineering ecosystem by mapping Indian deep-tech companies, government technology missions, and research institutions. Develop relationships with technical leaders, source meaningful engineering problems, and structure them into capstones, research collaborations, fellowships, internships, and employment pathways. Establish government and research-lab partnerships, assess ecosystem quality, and track outcomes including prototypes, collaborations, solved industry problems, and student placements.

Provides strategic leadership for the university’s IT ecosystem, including infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, ERP, cybersecurity, academic technology, data governance, analytics, and IT service management. The role develops technology strategy, leads digital transformation, manages vendors and budgets, ensures compliance and business continuity, and builds a high-performing IT organization supporting academic, operational, research, and learner-experience goals.
