Supports public policy and government relations initiatives through socio-economic research, policy analysis, report writing, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and digital content creation for LinkedIn and Twitter. The role also assists with strategic reviews, program development, reporting, documentation, and thought leadership materials.

Develops grant proposals, concept notes, pitches, and budget narratives; researches funding opportunities; manages donor relationships and funding pipelines; coordinates grant compliance and reporting; collaborates with program and finance teams; and maintains grant databases, calendars, reporting schedules, and donor records.

Creates visual assets for social media, training initiatives, and marketing campaigns. Designs flyers, banners, presentations, and business proposals while ensuring materials meet strategic objectives and deadlines. Collaborates with Business Development and Management teams, manages multiple creative projects, and delivers high-quality graphics on schedule.

Supports leadership by managing schedules, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, tracking action items, facilitating cross-functional communication, preparing reports and meeting minutes, maintaining organized records, monitoring operational activities, and helping execute projects and strategic initiatives. The role ensures timely follow-through on leadership directives and proactively identifies potential delays or issues.

Designs, films, edits, and prepares polished visual content for campaigns, social media, events, websites, and Defence Futures Lab briefings. Responsibilities include creating decks, graphics, event materials, web imagery, video, colour treatments, and motion graphics; supporting shoots; and organizing media assets and project files.

Write and edit press materials, newsletters, website copy, and thought leadership content. Plan content calendars, create social media posts, track engagement, report performance, manage audience interactions, and collaborate with creative and partnerships teams on campaigns and launches.

Coordinates project timelines, milestones, deliverables, schedules, and logistics. Maintains activity tracking, prepares progress reports, follows up on action items, supports events and travel logistics, and identifies bottlenecks while flagging potential solutions.

Build and maintain web forms, websites, integrations, dashboards, and data workflows supporting the Lab’s programs and research. Clean and structure data, improve data visibility and reliability, support basic governance and security hygiene, and keep digital tools and workflows operating smoothly.
