Assist the Division of Taxation with collection of delinquent accounts and securing delinquent returns by performing moderately complex tax collection activities in office and field. Conduct taxpayer interviews, analyze financial statements, determine payment arrangements, recommend lien or enforcement actions, handle offers in compromise, investigate insolvency and decedent estates, advise taxpayers on tax liabilities and payment provisions, and collect assessed monies as required.
