Provides technical support to customers developing camera products using OmniVision sensors. Responsibilities include system bring-up and troubleshooting, image-quality tuning, sensor evaluation, system-level workarounds, customer guidance, and communicating customer requirements to headquarters. Requires extensive experience with CMOS image sensors, image signal processors, camera engineering, stakeholder communication, and Japanese and English business proficiency.

Characterize, bring up, debug, and validate CMOS image sensor silicon prototypes and products. Set up laboratory evaluation hardware and software, develop characterization methods, collect and analyze R&D data, and assess product performance in customer applications. Collaborate with design, test, product, application, and international characterization teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Develop advanced CMOS and CIS process modules, collaborating with silicon and color foundries, image characterization, modeling, and pixel design teams. Improve silicon, color, and package processes; support production and design teams in enhancing yield and sensor performance; analyze bench and wafer-level data; and design and manage silicon split lots according to project goals and schedules.

Design and verify RTL using Verilog and SystemVerilog; define system and block microarchitecture; develop sensor timing control and image signal processing logic; optimize designs for low power; perform synthesis, formal verification, STA, and DFT; and support silicon bring-up and production.

Provides administrative and office management support for the Kyoto office, including supplies, shipping, visitor assistance, overseas travel preparation, reimbursement checks, asset management, and emergency food management. Requires native-level Japanese communication, basic English reading and writing, strong Microsoft Office and Google application skills, situational communication, teamwork, adaptability, and related administrative experience. Multinational company experience is preferred.

Provides enterprise IT support, troubleshooting, diagnosis, escalation, and infrastructure administration across Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, networking, and Citrix environments. Supports Active Directory, DNS, GPOs, servers, security incident remediation, application deployments, vendor activities, documentation, and technology implementations. Administers Jira and Confluence workflows, assists with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity, and may use PowerShell and Exchange automation. Designs and integrates digital circuits for image sensors, including sensor timing control and ISP data pipelines. Responsibilities include chip architecture, RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing closure, DFT, full-chip integration, silicon validation, debugging, image tuning, and customer support. The role collaborates with analog, backend, algorithm, and application engineering teams throughout the ASIC development lifecycle.

Designs, simulates, verifies, and refines multi-gigabit PAM4 SerDes IP and analog/mixed-signal receiver blocks, including TI-SAR ADCs, CTLE, DFE, and AFE components. Responsibilities include CDR development, high-speed testing with oscilloscopes and BERT, analog-digital interface verification, layout optimization, clock and synchronization design, and IP documentation. The engineer collaborates with system and test teams on high-speed interfaces, packages, boards, and system clocks for image sensor and bridge chip products.

Designs, simulates, verifies, debugs, and characterizes embedded analog and mixed-signal circuits, including high-speed I/O, SerDes, FIFO, CDR, and PLLs. Collaborates with system and test engineers on interfaces, package and board design, and system clocks for image sensor and bridge products. Performs high-speed testing with oscilloscopes and BERT, supports layout optimization, verifies analog-digital interfaces, and documents IP and design specifications.
