Six-month Compliance Intern supporting Schroders’ Luxembourg and EMEA operations. Responsibilities include regulatory research, drafting compliance advice, maintaining reporting calendars, updating policies and procedures, coordinating KPIs and compliance reports, assisting with monitoring reviews, reviewing marketing materials, and tracking regulatory changes. Supports infrastructure private equity investments through opportunity analysis, business plan review, due diligence, deal structuring, execution, and portfolio management. Supports the Infrastructure Debt investment team across investment analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio reporting, ESG analysis, investor presentations, and asset management. The intern will prepare investment memos, assist with Investment Committee presentations, process waiver requests, monitor infrastructure news, maintain dashboards, and coordinate responses with internal teams and investors in a fast-paced international environment.

Oversee infrastructure debt fund operations, including acquisitions, settlements, capital calls, NAV production, cash flows, financial statements, audits, investor reporting, tax obligations, and service-provider oversight. Maintain KYI/AML monitoring, support fund launches, strengthen controls and governance, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate operational projects with investment teams, internal stakeholders, fund administrators, and external providers.

Performs initial and ongoing AML/CTF and Know Your Distributor due diligence on investment intermediaries and business partners. Evaluates financial crime and distribution risks, reviews policies and supporting documentation, maintains first-line compliance controls, advises on distribution channels, and ensures audit-ready records. The role also handles complex AML matters, supports regulatory change, collaborates with Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Client Service, and the MLRO, and guides team members.

Leads end-to-end business analysis for regulatory change, including regulatory interpretation, gap analysis, impact assessment, solution design, requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, and traceability. Partners with stakeholders and delivery teams on testing and implementation, while providing leadership, oversight, and best-practice guidance to business analysts across major transformation programs.
