Owns analog and mixed-signal design verification activities for integrated circuits and subsystems. Develops verification plans, reusable UVM-based environments, testbenches, tests, checkers, coverage models, and behavioral models using SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS. Performs simulation, regression, RTL debugging, risk identification, and verification completeness analysis. Collaborates with analog, digital, systems, validation, and test teams while providing technical guidance to verification engineers.

The role also involves experimental circuit construction, semiconductor layout, Unix systems, and programming for instrument control and automation.

Oversee semiconductor test equipment and perform wafer-level and packaged-device characterization, including I-V, EPROM, reliability, transient, gate charge, reverse recovery, and S-parameter measurements. Develop and upgrade test software and hardware, debug test chip programs, and support device development and modeling. Requires deep semiconductor device physics knowledge, extensive hands-on characterization experience, proficiency with automated probers and analyzers, and familiarity with semiconductor layout tools.

Defines AI and machine learning architectures for embedded, edge, cloud-connected, and intelligent sensor systems. Leads development of AI frameworks, inference pipelines, model deployment strategies, and reference implementations. Evaluates machine learning and foundation-model technologies, optimizes models for performance and resource constraints, and guides hardware/software partitioning across processors and accelerators. Partners with product, software, architecture, research, and strategic customer teams while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and contributions to patents and technical publications.

Derive and manage cybersecurity requirements for MCU, SoC, and software products. Conduct threat analysis, establish product cybersecurity goals based on UN R155 and international regulations, research market trends, create cybersecurity roadmaps, improve requirements processes, and coordinate with product development, quality assurance, customers, and management across global teams.

Leads the architecture and full lifecycle development of analog, mixed-signal, and PMIC products, from customer requirements and specifications through simulation, verification, silicon evaluation, and production readiness. Serves as a global technical authority, mentors engineers, guides roadmap planning, collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams, and drives company-wide engineering methodology improvements.

Owns technical readiness, manufacturability, qualification, and lifecycle performance of advanced semiconductor power modules from NPI through high-volume production. Leads assembly process development, product bring-up, yield and parametric analysis, defect investigations, manufacturing release, change management, and production issue resolution. Partners with design, test, quality, manufacturing, applications, OSATs, and customers to improve performance, quality, cost, yield, and cycle time.

Leads global strategy, business development, customer engagement, product portfolio direction, and revenue growth for Renesas’ Hyperscalers and Emerging AI segment. Builds relationships with cloud providers and AI companies, identifies market and technology opportunities, translates customer needs into product roadmaps, and coordinates Sales, Applications, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations teams to secure design wins and drive commercialization.
