Supports accounting and tax activities across PlayStation’s global business, including standalone and consolidated close, IFRS reporting, audit, tax compliance, royalty accounting, treasury, and finance process improvement. The role may involve ERP, data analysis, automation, AI, and collaboration with international Finance and Tax teams. Candidates may come from corporate finance, audit, tax advisory, or accounting advisory backgrounds.

Develop manufacturing test and diagnostic software for PlayStation custom SoCs and hardware. Responsibilities include hardware evaluation, SoC verification, boot firmware and low-level Linux software development, defect analysis, test automation, CI/CD, and production deployment. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, quality teams, and semiconductor vendors to diagnose issues, improve test coverage and reliability, and support hardware from prototype through mass production.

Develop and evaluate custom LSI components for PlayStation products, with an initial focus on GPU specifications, functional development, and performance evaluation. Responsibilities include defining LSI specifications, collaborating with vendors on design, validating prototypes, supporting mass production, and developing C/C++ evaluation tools. The role requires deep understanding of computer architecture and low-level hardware, including processors, registers, cache, memory, and buses.

Develop and evaluate custom LSIs for PlayStation products, specializing in audio IP or SoC systems. Responsibilities include defining specifications, collaborating with LSI vendors on design and development, validating prototype functionality and performance, and supporting mass production. The role requires low-level hardware knowledge, C/C++ test programming, assembly or intrinsic optimization, and technical leadership. Candidates may also apply expertise in audio signal processing, codecs, CPU/DSP systems, memory, microcontrollers, and SoC buses.

Develop and evaluate custom LSIs and peripheral SoCs for PlayStation products. Responsibilities include LSI specification, architecture and design coordination with external design houses, prototype chip validation, product integration, quality improvement, and failure analysis. The role requires low-level hardware understanding, evaluation software development in C/C++ or Python, Linux-based software or firmware experience, technical problem solving, and collaboration with global partners and internal hardware and software teams.

Lead IT support service operations and continuous improvement across Japan and Asia. Manage service desk performance, reporting, PC provisioning, asset inventory, global program implementations, and Follow-the-Sun support coordination with US and UK teams. Oversee 20–30 external vendors, including budgets, workload, service quality, and operational management. Drive standardization, service improvements, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery of reliable regional and global IT services.

Provides legal support for PlayStation’s Japanese and Asian third-party partners. Reviews, drafts, and negotiates Japanese- and English-language agreements; advises on game content, services, campaigns, and marketing initiatives; reviews promotional assets; and coordinates cross-regional matters with global legal and internal teams. The role requires practical, business-oriented risk management and frequent bilingual collaboration.

Procures electrical and semiconductor components for PlayStation consoles and peripherals, from supplier selection through mass production. Responsibilities include evaluating supplier proposals, cost estimation, delivery negotiation, quantity management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and quality teams. The DX component manages BOM costs and component supply-chain data, builds analytics foundations, visualizes information for management decisions, and improves operational efficiency using systems and BI tools. Overseas travel may occur quarterly.
