As Product Counsel, you will provide legal guidance on cybersecurity and SaaS products, draft and negotiate agreements, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Lead and grow an engineering team building StrongDM's just-in-time proxy and control-plane platform. Manage delivery of distributed systems in Go across AWS/multi-cloud, oversee code/design reviews (security, TLS/mTLS, credential brokering), translate roadmaps into execution plans, hire and develop engineers, and collaborate with product, architects, and DevOps/SRE to ensure secure, reliable platform operations and compliance with policy-as-code standards.

Lead architecture and technical direction for StrongDM's Go-based distributed proxy and control-plane. Drive design decisions for proxy data plane and control-plane services, enforce performance and security standards, resolve complex production issues, author architectural documentation, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross-team roadmaps.

Provide hands-on legal counsel and lead global negotiations, drafting, and deal management for large, complex SaaS and software transactions. Partner with sales and cross-functional teams, support M&A integrations, manage risk and compliance, drive process improvements and enablement, and report commercial trends to influence strategy.

Lead and coach a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to drive inbound and outbound lead generation. Build and maintain playbooks, KPIs, scripts, and templates. Partner with sales, enablement, HR for recruiting and training. Monitor performance, provide onboarding and on-the-job coaching, and help scale pipeline generation while enabling progression to Account Executive roles.

Manage a team of cloud engineers to govern and optimize a multi-cloud environment while implementing security frameworks and managing vendor relationships.

Sell Delinea's identity security platform into enterprise accounts ($1B+), build territory plans, prospect and manage complex multi-stakeholder deals, meet sales targets, maintain pipeline forecasts, engage technical experts and channel partners, and travel ~30–40% within the territory.
