Summer intern supporting absolute return and hedge fund portfolio management. Responsibilities include constructing allocation plans, analyzing portfolio risk, testing compliance with investment objectives, preparing client correspondence and presentations, monitoring hedge fund investment themes, and collaborating with research, risk, operations, marketing, business development, and legal teams. The intern will also complete and present an industry-related case study.

Conduct private equity co-investment transactions from screening through closing and post-investment monitoring. Responsibilities include due diligence, industry and valuation analysis, financial modeling, investment memoranda, investment recommendations, legal coordination, operational diligence, investor communications, fundraising support, and portfolio performance reporting. The Associate will also supervise junior analysts and interns, support special projects, and manage multiple concurrent transactions under tight deadlines.

Ten-week private equity secondaries internship supporting fund opportunity analysis, due diligence, investment recommendations, industry research, portfolio reporting, client relationship management, fundraising, and business intelligence projects. Interns will collaborate with the Private Equity team on live deals and projects while using financial databases and Microsoft Office tools.

Construct, implement, and monitor customized private equity portfolios; assess investment opportunities and allocations; test compliance with portfolio guidelines; coordinate diligence, execution, closing, and funding; support investment committee meetings; monitor portfolio plans; prepare client updates; and contribute to investment process and strategic projects.

Lead and scale the firm's valuation function across alternative asset classes, setting strategy for people, process, and technology; oversee valuation governance and ASC 820 compliance; manage periodic and daily valuation processes for funds; build and mentor a high-performing team; coordinate with investment, accounting, audit, and external service providers; present valuation conclusions to senior leadership and governance bodies.

Lead valuation strategy, governance, and execution across private markets and illiquid assets. Build and scale the valuation organization, oversee ASC 820-compliant reporting, manage valuation committees, partner with investment and accounting teams, and ensure daily and periodic NAV and valuation processes for interval funds. Drive people, process, technology (including AI/automation), and cross-functional collaboration with auditors, legal, tax, and fund administrators.

Build and maintain quantitative risk models and analytics for hedge fund investments, including factor and alpha decomposition, stress testing, and optimization. Support portfolio construction and manager evaluation, monitor risk exposures and market conditions, deliver internal and investor reporting, and engage with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders to inform investment decisions.

Design, build, and own scalable platform capabilities to automate investment decision-making and reporting. Partner with product and business stakeholders, leverage AI-assisted development, champion observability and testing, mentor engineers, run design/code reviews, and drive platform innovation and long-term technical strategy in an agile environment.

The role involves driving fundraising and investor engagement through comprehensive marketing strategies for alternative investments across institutional and private channels.

Support all stages of private equity investments including deal screening, due diligence, financial modeling (LBO/co-investments), transaction execution, investment monitoring, investor communications, and fundraising support.
