Leads enterprise Embedded Finance partner risk and controls strategy across BaaS and GDN partners. Advises executives and boards on risk-growth trade-offs, establishes first-line control standards, designs partner oversight operating models, manages regulatory commitments, develops risk scorecards, and represents the company with regulators and industry stakeholders. The role also leads cross-functional initiatives involving risk, compliance, legal, finance, technology, and external partners.

Resolves escalated customer complaints through inbound and outbound communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and cross-functional coordination. Advises executives on commercial, regulatory, product, operational, and financial-services matters; negotiates complex agreements; supports payments, fintech, banking, and money movement products; manages outside counsel and legal processes; partners with Compliance, Risk, Product, Finance, and Operations; and leads attorneys and cross-functional initiatives.

Provides expert SQL Server database performance engineering for high-volume financial transaction systems. Diagnoses and resolves complex performance, concurrency, HA/DR, replication, and scalability issues; designs partitioning, indexing, monitoring, automation, and security controls; leads incident response and disaster recovery testing; supports regulatory audits; and mentors DBAs and developers. The consultant partners with engineering, SRE, architecture, and security teams to improve latency, stability, reliability, and scalability.

Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems through automated deployments, monitoring, observability, and incident response. The role partners with development, operations, and QA teams to improve software delivery, establish reliability processes, track KPIs and SLIs, optimize database performance, and manage messaging systems. Participation in on-call rotations and occasional travel for team meetings are required.

Oversees AWS Redshift and Informatica-based platforms, ETL pipelines, data models, quality, lineage, metadata, testing, and regulatory compliance. Partners with executives, technology, risk, compliance, product, and business teams while managing vendors, budgets, and a large data engineering team.

Owns end-to-end marketing operations for the Walmart MoneyCard program, including campaign planning, budgets, vendor and agency management, Hispanic marketing initiatives, cross-functional coordination, performance reporting, ROI tracking, and process documentation. Requires advanced Spanish fluency, retail and digital marketing experience, CRM knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex campaigns independently.

Lead the design, development, and support of scalable APIs, microservices, and high-performance embedded finance systems. Establish architecture and coding standards, guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and incident response. Collaborate with product and engineering teams, evaluate emerging technologies, manage complex software projects, and deliver durable, compliant solutions for a high-transaction BaaS platform.

Leads intake, discovery, solutioning, and readiness for partner payments products and the Payments Platform. Defines product strategy, requirements, roadmaps, success metrics, customer journeys, workflows, and risk controls. Coordinates Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance/Risk, and business stakeholders to validate feasibility, dependencies, risks, and operational readiness. Serves as a payments subject matter expert, supports issue resolution, ensures governance adherence, and mentors product practitioners.
