Services assigned commercial insurance accounts by reviewing coverage, limits, applications, renewals, proposals, certificates, invoices, and other transactions. Builds client relationships, recommends coverage, develops business from existing accounts and leads, maintains agency management data, supports premium collections, and contributes to departmental production goals. Requires commercial insurance experience, knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets, a producer’s license, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Support account management for commercial insurance clients by handling certificates, policy changes, renewals, quotes, premium collection, client communications, data entry, and general account service to meet production and retention goals.

The Account Manager oversees client accounts, ensures accurate processing of renewals, and acts as a liaison between clients and carriers.

Supports Account Executives, Account Managers, and Producers with commercial insurance servicing. Prepares certificates, policy binders, endorsements, audits, invoices, renewal applications, proposals, loss runs, and cancellation notices. Maintains account data, suspense items, scanned documents, and internal processing records while providing customer service to clients, team members, and carriers.

Supports the Florida Personal Lines team with policy renewals, cancellations, lender endorsements, data entry, carrier communications, report reconciliation, and policy processing. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, independent and collaborative work skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. A Florida 4-40 Customer Service license is required or must be obtained.

Market, quote, bind, and issue commercial insurance policies for lower-middle market accounts. Work with producers and carriers, underwrite within delegated authority, prepare valuations and classifications, manage post-binding operations in EPIC, and coordinate handoffs with service teams while maintaining carrier relationships and industry knowledge.

Provides administrative and clerical support to commercial insurance account managers. Processes endorsements, cancellations, binders, renewal worksheets, and experience modifications; maintains account files; assists with client service and relationships; learns carrier websites for quoting; and develops independence toward managing a book of business. The role is onsite and includes paid preparation for obtaining a Property & Casualty license if needed.

Manage a complex commercial-lines insurance book: handle client service, renewals, quoting, policy issuance, underwriting relationships, team delegation, recordkeeping, and training to ensure client retention and accurate coverage.

Provides reception and office administrative support, including answering calls, greeting visitors, processing mail, coordinating conference rooms and lunch meetings, maintaining common areas, distributing faxes, reporting building issues, managing contact lists, ordering supplies, and assisting with data entry, reporting, and deposits. Requires strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, computer, and organizational skills in a full-time office environment.

This role involves preparing financial statements, supporting external reporting, collaborating with multiple teams, and assisting with compliance and automation efforts.
