Market and service voluntary benefit plans to prospects and clients. Prepare proposals and presentations, obtain carrier quotes, coordinate plan implementation and enrollments, create client communications, train clients on administration, assist with claims and coverage changes, attend client meetings, and provide administrative support to the Voluntary Benefits Department.

Partner with HR/IT to improve benefits administration, compliance, and processes while recommending system enhancements to increase efficiency and employee experience.

Manage and retain a book of commercial insurance accounts, lead renewals and marketing, assess client risk, negotiate with carriers, identify cross-sell opportunities, support new business development, mentor junior staff, and coordinate delivery of services throughout the policy cycle.

Provide absence management consulting for short- and long-term disability, FMLA, ADA, PFML, PWFA and PTO programs. Analyze carrier and employer data, support RFPs/vendor selection and implementations, develop strategy and evaluation criteria, manage vendor relationships, and represent HUB at industry events. Collaborate with clients to design and improve absence program processes and compliance.

Manage a portfolio of employee benefits clients, support retention, coordinate implementations and renewals, resolve claims and billing issues, prepare enrollment materials and compliance documents, and collaborate with producers and account teams to deliver service and strategic plans.

Lead the development of cloud-native applications using Azure, Golang, and .NET. Implement CI/CD and mentor junior developers.

Support Account Executive with renewals, policy and endorsement processing, billing, incoming calls and emails from agents/carriers, ordering loss runs, maintaining files and reports, and performing ad-hoc duties to ensure timely service and compliance with company guidelines.

Manage a book of personal lines insurance accounts: lead client service and segmentation strategy, retain and grow accounts through cross-sell and referrals, coordinate onboarding and carrier relations, lead annual reviews and remarkets, communicate rate changes, ensure documentation in Epic and agency systems, and comply with Michigan insurance regulations to reduce E&O exposure.
