The Federal Programming Planner will lead multi-disciplinary planning projects, preparing strategic documents and facilitating charrettes for military and federal clients.

Responsibilities include developing growth plans, managing key client relationships, enhancing pipeline development, and fostering a unified company culture across regions.

Support planning, design, and delivery of rail infrastructure projects. Perform civil design (track, grading, drainage), prepare plans, specs, reports, and estimates, coordinate with project and construction teams, ensure regulatory compliance and application of AREMA/FRA standards, respond to RFIs, support permitting, and maintain project documentation.

Develop and produce BIM models and design drawings for bridges and transportation structures. Verify dimensions, materials, and constructability; identify conflicts and propose solutions; collaborate with engineers and teams to coordinate models and meet project schedules.

Lead stormwater and water resources projects including H&H modeling, SWM/BMP design, pond retrofits, flood mitigation, erosion control, and site/park/trail design. Manage scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, mentor staff, support proposals, and maintain client and regulatory relationships.

The Drainage Project Manager will lead engineering design for transportation projects, specializing in hydrology and hydraulics, and mentor project teams in Wisconsin.

Support senior mechanical engineers in HVAC and plumbing design using Revit and energy modeling (Trane TRACE). Prepare layouts, perform equipment selection and calculations, review contractor submittals/RFIs, assist with LEED documentation, maintain project documentation, attend coordination meetings, and travel occasionally for project needs.

Lead electrical design oversight for substation and traction power systems on rail/transit projects. Review designs, ensure compliance with standards, coordinate with clients and contractors, support construction, testing and commissioning, mentor junior engineers, and manage schedules, deliverables, and QA processes.
