Design and develop electrical systems and control panels for Trane commercial HVAC products, select and qualify power components (transformers, breakers, VFDs), produce prototypes, test plans and product documentation. Lead designers and technicians, manage schedules and regulatory approvals, support product planning and order fulfillment, and drive electrical quality and productivity improvements.

Troubleshoot process and MES issues, conduct investigations and statistical studies, create standardized work and documentation, support corrective actions, ensure OSHA-compliant safety with EHS, and translate customer requirements into MES development and testing.

Lead a cross-disciplinary engineering and technician team to deliver oil-free air-cooled chiller products. Coordinate with stakeholders across product, sales, operations, and service; plan work to meet performance, cost, reliability, and quality goals; mentor staff and ensure engineering processes. Travel up to 15-25% required.

Design and maintain unit electrical systems and schematics for commercial HVAC products. Select and qualify electrical and electro-mechanical power components, support production engineering (HV/LV cabinets, conduit, wire harnesses), administer regulatory approvals, update documentation, coordinate projects, and drive electrical quality and productivity improvements.

Lead commercial HVAC systems sales by developing long-term relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners. Manage project takeoffs, proposals, pricing, and system integration (equipment, controls, services). Diagnose customer needs, convert leads, assemble acquisition teams, and execute account-specific business plans to drive energy-efficient building solutions. Provide technical consultation and visit customers regularly.

Design, develop, and improve safe, cost-effective manufacturing processes and tooling. Resolve process and product design issues using investigations and statistical studies, create workstation layouts and standardized work, maintain manufacturing standards and documentation, support new design input, and partner with EHS to ensure OSHA-compliant equipment and safety.
