Serves as a liaison between cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders by gathering requirements, documenting processes, supporting security programs, analyzing metrics, and tracking project risks and deliverables. Responsibilities include governance, risk management, compliance, identity and vulnerability management, incident response support, process improvement, reporting, dashboard development, and stakeholder communication.

Analyzes cyber threat intelligence from open-source, commercial, and government sources; researches threat actors, vulnerabilities, malware campaigns, and adversary tactics. Develops and deploys predictive analytics, machine learning, and deep learning solutions for production use. Responsibilities include statistical analysis, feature engineering, model development, anomaly detection, NLP, computer vision, MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud AI platform integration, data engineering collaboration, model monitoring, governance, and stakeholder communication. The role also supports large-scale analytics, AI modernization, and human-reviewed multi-source summarization.

Leads cyber threat intelligence operations, including threat collection, actor and infrastructure analysis, attribution, IOC and TTP identification, and intelligence reporting. Supports SOC, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat hunting teams with actionable intelligence. Advises leadership on cyber risks, develops intelligence requirements and playbooks, manages intelligence-sharing relationships, researches emerging threats, and evaluates threat intelligence tools and services.

Conduct proactive threat hunting across networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and applications; develop and tune detections using SIEM, EDR/XDR, NDR, Sigma, YARA, and security analytics. Analyze telemetry, threat intelligence, and adversary TTPs; support incident response, forensic investigations, purple-team exercises, and detection validation. Build dashboards, identify visibility gaps, improve detection coverage, and reduce false positives using MITRE ATT&CK and related frameworks.

Conduct user research, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and participatory design for CISA services. Translate research into technical requirements, user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and design standards. Facilitate workshops with users, engineers, and policymakers; validate service utility; identify user-driven technical debt and operational risks; and advocate for customer experience practices across service teams.

Acts as the liaison between cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders.
