Lead component engineering for fiber optic, opto-electronic and optical parts: select alternates, manage obsolescence, define part requirements and roadmaps, chair commodity team, support failure analysis/DPA, influence system architecture, and participate in design reviews. Support system verification, test planning, and operations for AVE integration. Collaborate with integration/test, systems, software, mission, payload, quality, risk, and operations teams across the product lifecycle. Define complex test strategies, develop test plans and workflows, manage test implementation and execution, ensure verification provides required compliance data, and track risks and opportunities.

Develop Java 21+ microservices, Spring-based integrations (Spring Integration/Apache Camel), Apache NiFi data flows, and observability (Prometheus/Grafana). Build Spring Boot backends with MongoDB/Elasticsearch and Angular/React/Vue frontends, implement real-time updates, and collaborate across teams.

Lead systems architecture and Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) planning for large defense product lines.
