The Operations Project Manager provides technical leadership in hardware production and execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely progress and addressing project issues. They coordinate with multiple departments and manage project documentation and schedules, while supporting production challenges and process improvements.

Supports defense and security business growth by identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing customer and partner relationships, analyzing markets, budgets, and competitors, and shaping customer-aligned solutions. Develops growth plans, engagement strategies, business cases, and briefings; supports capture, proposals, demonstrations, and reviews; maintains pipeline data; and coordinates with cross-functional teams. Ensures compliance with security, export-control, ethics, and government-contracting requirements.

Manage complex subcontract execution across the program lifecycle, developing supply chain strategies, work scopes, negotiation plans, and supplier performance processes. The role requires aerospace and defense subcontracting expertise, familiarity with FAR and DFARS, cross-functional leadership, and 10% national and international travel.

Supports DoD FIAR and audit-readiness programs focused on logistics, inventory, property accountability, and asset valuation. Performs internal-control testing, process walkthroughs, documentation reviews, reconciliations, and evidence preparation. Identifies control gaps, supports remediation plans, maintains risk-control documentation, reviews logistics transactions in Costpoint and other ERP systems, assists with physical inventory activities, and trains process owners. The role requires collaboration with government stakeholders, auditors, and logistics teams while handling sensitive data and government-owned assets.

Supports the U.S. ethics and compliance program through compliance monitoring, investigations, risk mitigation, corrective actions, data analysis, dashboards, governance reporting, policy documentation, and third-party due diligence. The role collaborates with Legal Operations and HR Employee Relations, communicates regulatory requirements, and helps implement and improve compliance processes in an international defense and aerospace organization.

Leads finance transformation and compliance initiatives across the defense business. Responsibilities include ensuring proposal and pricing compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, customer requirements, and internal policies; supporting audits; improving forecasting, cost estimating, budgeting, FP&A, and program finance; developing compliant proposal responses; refining finance tools and processes; and guiding training and operational excellence.

Perform IT systems administration, including patching, user management, and ICT security. Analyze system and security event logs, report and assess incidents, conduct security risk assessments and audits, evaluate security control effectiveness, and implement controls to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Support the IT Security Manager and Cyber Security Specialist in maintaining and improving the organization’s security posture.

Manages complex defense and aerospace subcontracts across the program lifecycle. Develops supply chain and subcontract strategies, scopes statements of work, supports proposal and program startup activities, monitors supplier delivery, quality, and earned value performance, leads negotiation strategies, analyzes performance trends, and briefs senior leaders. Collaborates with program management, engineering, finance, business development, and operations while maintaining supplier relationships and regulatory compliance.

Leads the design, development, and implementation of real-time geospatial database content for simulation and training. Applies GIS, 3D modeling, visualization, imagery, elevation, and vector-data expertise while guiding development teams, delegating tasks, managing schedules and budgets, and supporting customer acceptance. The role requires full lifecycle project execution, customer interaction, process definition, technical communication, and compliance with organizational security and data-handling procedures.

Create, edit, and proofread technical documentation for defense training systems. Translate complex engineering concepts into clear text and visuals, apply DoD style standards, use publishing tools, support configuration management, collaborate with engineers and QA, and prepare materials for release.
