Develops and improves 200mm silicon carbide substrate manufacturing processes for high-volume production. Responsibilities include equipment and material characterization, process monitoring, yield and quality improvement, troubleshooting, qualification planning, statistical control, data analysis, and leading process changes. The engineer collaborates with R&D, manufacturing personnel, engineers, and technicians to transition processes into production while reducing variation, cost, and safety risks.

Responsibilities include electrical hardware design, multilayer PCB development, circuit simulation, analog and mixed-signal circuitry, instrumentation, debugging, system commissioning, documentation, and test automation. The role collaborates with reliability, product, applications, technicians, and engineering teams to improve test capabilities and support product qualification and reliability research.

Leads consensus-based demand forecasting and Integrated Business Planning for assigned product lines. Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Distribution, and Business Units to reconcile demand, manufacturing, inventory, and financial objectives. Analyzes forecast accuracy, attainment, backlog, buffer stock, and market performance; presents demand plans in S&OP meetings; communicates risks and opportunities; and drives continuous improvements using statistical forecasting, data visualization, and supply chain best practices.

Manages logistics, warehousing, and corporate travel categories, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier relationships, travel program administration, cost optimization, and compliance. Leads RFPs, supplier performance reviews, scorecards, procure-to-pay activities, and cross-functional logistics initiatives. Oversees the transition to a new Travel Management Company, maintains travel resources, and drives process improvements through analytics, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Leads development and design of next-generation silicon carbide power devices, especially MOSFETs. Responsibilities include device concept development, design-of-experiments, experimental characterization, data analysis, manufacturability and reliability optimization, and collaboration across process, applications, modeling, validation, and product introduction teams. The role also involves technical presentations and publishing research.

Installs, configures, maintains, and improves semiconductor fabrication equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tool fingerprinting, cost reduction, procedure development, equipment documentation, tool selection, and collaboration with process engineering and production teams to improve availability, quality, scrap, rework, and costs. The role also presents technical data and supports equipment acceptance and process transfers.

Develop, qualify, and optimize ion implantation processes in an automated Silicon Carbide wafer fab. Drive process and equipment improvements that enhance device performance, yield, quality, and efficiency. Define experiments using Design of Experiments and statistical analysis, identify potential failures, solve process issues, support new product introductions, communicate technical findings, and collaborate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and vendors. Occasional travel to manufacturing sites and vendor locations is required.

Sustain, optimize, and improve ion implantation equipment used in silicon carbide semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tool fingerprinting, continuous improvement projects, root cause analysis, procedure and configuration documentation, equipment selection support, quality and cost improvements, safety compliance, spare-parts inventory, BOM management, and vendor coordination.
