Analyzes complex business, financial, and operational processes, with emphasis on accounting reconciliations, reporting controls, risk management, and process improvement. The role identifies root causes, investigates variances, supports SOX and financial controls, develops reports, documents procedures, and recommends automation and standardization. Develops recommendations for product strategy, growth, enhancements, profitability, and competitiveness. Builds dashboards and reporting using Excel, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, or similar tools; prepares leadership presentations; responds to escalated member inquiries; collaborates with underwriting, marketing, legal, and IT; and manages product risks and compliance.

Leads technology resiliency and recovery efforts across IT lines of business. Analyzes resiliency risks, incidents, controls, and compliance gaps; coordinates disaster recovery and business continuity testing; advises stakeholders on mitigation plans; supports audit, risk, legal, and regulatory responses; prepares executive communications and after-action reports; and helps ensure applications and infrastructure meet operational resiliency standards.

Manages complex auto and property claims litigation, developing defense and settlement strategies, negotiating with counsel, representing USAA at mediations and trials, reviewing legal expenses, managing law firm vendors, documenting litigation decisions, and advising management. Ensures regulatory compliance, controls litigation risks, delivers high-quality member service, supports escalated cases, and may assist litigation leadership with special projects and training.

Leads customer journey and personalization strategy for P&C acquisition and engagement programs. Designs and optimizes journeys across owned channels and paid media, using segmentation, customer data, testing, and personalization to improve engagement and conversion. Manages agencies, budgets, campaign plans, cross-functional teams, marketing processes, and complex go-to-market initiatives. Partners with Marketing, MarTech, Analytics, Product Marketing, Digital Experience, Media, and external stakeholders while advising senior leaders and ensuring compliance.

Leads business requirements, rules management, reporting transformation, automation, financial systems configuration, regulatory reporting, data governance, and complex implementation projects. Translates requirements into functional designs, manages Oracle-based business rules and reporting processes, coordinates cross-functional teams, mentors analysts, and ensures financial controls, risk, compliance, and audit requirements are maintained.

Leads the strategy, delivery, performance, and management of complex member experiences and business deliverables across channels. Develops experience and product strategies, prioritizes investments, drives Agile execution, improves member value, manages change, and oversees high-performing teams. Partners with executives and stakeholders to deliver customer-centric outcomes, ensure regulatory risk controls, and support business growth and resiliency.

Leads quantitative and qualitative analysis to shape product and line-of-business strategy. Evaluates market, regulatory, macroeconomic, pricing, marketing, sales, credit risk, distribution, member experience, and P&L insights. Develops analytical frameworks, tests strategic hypotheses, influences leadership decisions, defines outcome measures, manages risk, and guides team members. Requires extensive data analysis and strategy experience using tools such as Excel, Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Snowflake, SAS, and Adobe Analytics.

Owns and improves business processes supporting USAA’s Experience Intelligence strategy. Defines performance indicators, monitors process health, manages controls and risks, analyzes reporting and operational data, and supports root cause analysis and corrective actions. Partners with business, technology, analytics, and experience teams to improve member journeys, develop requirements, optimize processes, and communicate performance insights. The role requires four days per week in an office and focuses on continuous service improvement and governance.
