Own Aurora’s Texas media strategy, build relationships with regional and national reporters, coordinate media visits, and secure proactive coverage. Collaborates across electrical, mechanical, operations, and validation teams; supports test infrastructure and product launches; mentors junior engineers; and improves development processes. The role also addresses EMI/EMC, high-speed signaling, analog electronics, and electro-mechanical constraints.

Develop, implement, integrate, and verify motion control systems for autonomous vehicle platforms. Responsibilities include creating safety-critical motion control algorithms, analyzing performance in offline and on-road environments, and validating robustness against disturbances, failure modes, and environmental conditions.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and data-processing pipelines for Aurora’s static and dynamic mapping systems. Build reliable services for storing and serving map data, improve testing and performance, and collaborate with internal and external customers on system designs and features. The role focuses on distributed systems, data versioning, cloud-native technologies, and high-throughput mapping infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicles.

Supports manufacturing test and automation for Aurora hardware. Responsibilities include debugging manufacturing test software, optimizing automated test procedures, analyzing production metrics, supporting manufacturing teams and customers, documenting test results, and leading cross-functional continuous-improvement efforts. The role requires Python programming, Linux, electronic test equipment, data-acquisition systems, manufacturing test development, verification and validation, and schematic interpretation, with international travel for contract manufacturer support.

Lead the strategy, architecture, configuration, integration, governance, and AI automation of Aurora’s HR technology ecosystem. Oversee HRIS, ATS, rewards, and performance platforms; improve data flows across People, Finance, and Commercial systems; establish privacy, compliance, and audit controls; partner with executives and vendors; and build and mentor a high-performing People Technology team.

Develops real-time sensor-data algorithms and owns the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of online calibration software for autonomous vehicles. Collaborates with software, hardware, manufacturing, and operations teams to keep vehicle sensors accurately aligned for safety-critical autonomy functions.

Develop production-grade perception and machine learning systems for autonomous driving, including object tracking, sensor fusion, action and attribute recognition, and semantic understanding. Research deep learning models, analyze failures, optimize large-scale training pipelines, and deploy real-time solutions on Aurora’s Driver platform. The role also involves architectural strategy, software lifecycle ownership, and cross-functional collaboration across simulated and on-road testing.
