The Network Engineer III role involves supporting WAN, LAN, and CAN networks, troubleshooting, evaluating network performance, and implementing network solutions while ensuring compliance and managing security processes.

Designs, automates, and maintains cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, automated testing, and deployment processes. Develop test plans, cases, data, traceability, and automated testing practices; oversee functional, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing; manage defects and release readiness; communicate quality risks; support Agile delivery and operational validation; and mentor, recruit, and develop test professionals.

Diagnoses multidisciplinary optomechanical and electromechanical issues, leads root cause and corrective actions, improves manufacturing yield and supplier quality, executes environmental and acceptance testing, manages engineering changes, and prepares technical procedures and reports. Leads cybersecurity engineering for secure systems and networks, translating RMF requirements into testable controls and maintaining authorization documentation. Performs vulnerability analysis using Nessus, ACAS, STIG, and SCAP results; supports remediation, system hardening, compliance verification, audits, and full A&A authorization cycles. Provides architecture guidance, embeds security into engineering and CI/CD processes, administers cybersecurity tools, and communicates technical risks to stakeholders.

Support an Army Product Manager by translating operational requirements into hardware-focused system concepts, performance specifications, architectures, and technical documentation. Manage requirements, design, integration, testing, configuration audits, engineering changes, risk assessments, and program reviews. Review test plans and system performance, coordinate engineering disciplines, and provide technical expertise across the Department of Defense acquisition lifecycle.
