The PCB Layout Automation Engineer designs and develops electrical designs, collaborates with teams on project status, verifies designs, and mentors staff.

Serves as a senior technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, designing and positioning complex data center, WAN, cloud, AI infrastructure, and service provider networking solutions. Leads technical discovery, architecture workshops, executive presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and RFP/RFI/RFQ responses. Develops solution architectures, migration plans, implementation strategies, and engineering bills of materials while building customer relationships and collaborating with sales, engineering, product, customer success, and partners. Travel is required as needed.

Own embedded software features end to end, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and delivery. Develop and maintain C-based software on Linux systems, using Python for tooling and tests. Lead feature planning and execution, conduct code reviews, resolve integration issues, communicate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers. The role also involves system-level design, hardware compatibility considerations, networking software, and technical leadership across product initiatives.

Performs onsite repair, maintenance, component replacement, installation assistance, and ticket documentation for HPC compute, network, and storage hardware. Reads system documentation and diagrams, uses hand and low-power tools, manages spare parts and inventory, and collaborates with onsite teams. Requires lifting equipment and parts up to 50 pounds independently and occasional pallet-jack operation. The role is based onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, despite the remote/teleworker designation.

Leads cross-functional programs that support secure software development and product security across HPE. Manages schedules, deliverables, communications, stakeholder alignment, user support, training materials, process improvements, compliance initiatives, and risk resolution. Partners with engineering, Product Security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive adoption of secure practices and capabilities. The role also provides guidance and mentoring while balancing operational execution with longer-term program strategy.

Build and test Marvis Minis across embedded firmware and cloud services. Develop Minis features, author network/application validation tests, debug cross-layer issues spanning AP firmware to cloud data pipelines, extend platform to additional devices, and maintain cloud processing components (Storm, Airflow, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch). Collaborate with firmware, data science, QA, and operations and participate in production rollouts and incident response.

Designs, develops, tests, integrates, and leads delivery of next-generation distributed storage platforms. Collaborates with firmware, hardware, and Storage OS teams; oversees internal and outsourced development partners; reviews architectures and designs; drives technology integration; ensures testing quality; and mentors less-experienced engineers. Requires low-level C and Rust programming, embedded systems expertise, and knowledge of SAS and NVMe protocols.

Design, develop, and analyze hardware systems and components. Collaborate with teams to create high-end routing platforms from concept to production. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and extend software for integrated HPC-quantum systems including compilation, execution, resource estimation, and simulation. Build adapters, prototypes, tests, CI, and demos; document results and contribute to open standards and research dissemination.

Develops and debugs software enhancements and subsystems for systems software, including operating systems, networking, databases, utilities, and Internet tools. Executes test plans, identifies and resolves issues, and collaborates with internal and outsourced development partners. Contributes to project teams delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions for low- to moderately-complex products while applying foundational software design, coding, testing, and debugging knowledge.
