Leads risk and control management for digital tools and investment products within Vanguard’s Personal Wealth Division. Partners with business, technology, product, and risk stakeholders to identify risks, design controls, oversee governance, respond to risk events, and drive remediation. Supports investment management teams with legal and regulatory analysis across fixed income, municipal investments, and financial services. Responsibilities include drafting and interpreting legal documents, researching statutes and regulatory developments, resolving operational and contractual issues, evaluating regulatory impacts of products and strategies, maintaining legal databases, preparing reports, and supporting attorneys and business stakeholders.

Leads complex intercompany accounting and transfer pricing activities, including model governance, allocations, reconciliations, controls, audits, reporting dashboards, process improvements, automation, and financial close support. Serves as a subject matter expert, partners with stakeholders and auditors, trains accounting personnel, and ensures compliance with accounting standards, policies, and reporting requirements.

Provides technical leadership for full-stack application engineering supporting investment risk and analytics. Leads architecture, development, vendor integrations, AWS-based applications, APIs, testing, operational support, and AI-enabled solutions. Mentors engineers, establishes engineering standards, reviews designs, manages technical risks, performs root-cause analysis, and collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
