The role requires extensive electrical-industry experience, contractor and distributor relationships, and familiarity with low- and medium-voltage equipment.

Owns end-to-end commercial performance for ABB Motion’s APAC NEMA Motors region, including regional strategy, market development, sales, customer relationships, P&L, orders, delivery, invoicing, and collections. Leads distributed sales teams, manages channel partners, provides market and portfolio intelligence, identifies growth and acquisition opportunities, and drives regional sales plans, profitability, and performance improvements across multiple countries.

Supports ABB R&D projects involving electrical, mechanical, thermal, mechatronics, and generative AI topics. Responsibilities include evaluating emerging technologies, contributing ideas and solutions, designing components and test setups, and conducting calculations, simulations, laboratory tests, and experiments. The intern will work onsite or hybrid in Raleigh, North Carolina while collaborating with research teams and documenting results.
