Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, audit supplier processes, resolve supplier-related issues with purchasing/engineering, evaluate supplier performance, and maintain supplier rating/reporting systems to meet automotive quality standards.

Responsibilities include mold design reviews, manufacturability analysis, supplier and budget management, tool builds, sampling, PPAP readiness, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, maintenance planning, and process improvement. The role requires expertise in injection molding, polymer-to-glass adhesion, glass fixturing, mold flow analysis, and automotive manufacturing standards.

Supports the design, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated systems used in injection molding and secondary manufacturing. Works with robotics, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, and material handling equipment while supporting process development, equipment upgrades, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, data analysis, and production launches. Collaborates cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, tooling, and engineering teams.

Maintains, repairs, modifies, and troubleshoots injection molding and RIM tooling. Responsibilities include coordinating mold work orders, maintaining tooling documentation and parts inventories in CMMS, checking water circuits, interpreting tooling drawings, supporting production technicians, completing safety inspections, and ensuring tools meet customer and production specifications. The role also requires welding, polishing, fitting tooling components, basic electrical skills, and adherence to safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
