Design, develop, install, commission, and maintain PLC-based control systems, HMIs, robotics, vision and safety systems for automotive seating production. Troubleshoot equipment, improve cycle times and reliability, create technical documentation, and collaborate with IT for SCADA communications.

Lead hands-on development and delivery of automotive embedded ADAS ECU software from concept to production. Design, implement, test, and debug embedded software, define architecture, manage software schedules, release deliverables, lead the SW team, manage risks, and support continuous improvement and cross-team coordination.

Design, implement, and optimize classical and deep-learning computer vision algorithms for ADAS. Tasks include object detection, segmentation, tracking, image enhancement, dataset analysis, model optimization for real-time embedded ECUs, bench testing, root-cause analysis, documentation, and cross-functional integration for serial automotive production.

Provide administrative support for the department including filing, scheduling, meeting minutes, document control, record keeping, travel and vehicle coordination. Use Microsoft Office, Power BI and IMDS, maintain confidentiality, manage office supplies and assist with HR-related records and onboarding tasks.

Lead and coordinate engineering projects across product design, testing, and manufacturing; act as liaison between manufacturing and customer; manage design changes, schedules, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance.

Manage a book of automotive accounts across pursuit, development, and production phases. Lead quoting, commercial negotiations, pricing recommendations, and program launch support. Coordinate with divisions, suppliers, and customers to resolve commercial issues, drive business awards, and ensure program deliverables and profitability.

Provide corporate and commercial legal advice to Magna Exteriors North America, including contracts, leases, employment, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispute resolution and litigation management; manage external counsel, coordinate with global legal teams, and support legal compliance and training initiatives.

Support materials management for production: track inventory, coordinate receipts and shipments, ensure parts availability, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers and production teams.

Support gearbox and mechatronics engineers with CAD/3D modeling, BOM/PLM management, requirements writing, CAE vs test correlation, DFMEA and process documentation for electrified powertrain gearbox subsystems during a full-time fall co-op.

Support system engineering across the product development lifecycle: requirements analysis, system architecture, documentation, cross-functional collaboration with hardware/software/validation, participate in design reviews, and help improve engineering processes and tools while gaining hands-on automotive experience.
