Develop and deploy CAPRES semiconductor metrology applications, characterize electrical and magnetic measurements, analyze data, and create application methodologies and documentation. Lead complex software programs for semiconductor inspection tools, managing full delivery lifecycle and ensuring integration with hardware systems, driving cross-functional collaboration and adapting to customer needs.

Develop next-generation semiconductor mask inspection systems by defining subsystem architectures, requirements, designs, and test plans. Coordinate mechanical, electron optics, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams through prototype integration, testing, calibration, manufacturing, and service. Troubleshoot system issues, validate performance, support customers and field operations, document procedures, and train stakeholders. The role requires expertise in signal processing, imaging, electron optics, particle beam physics, and related instrumentation, with up to 25% international travel.

Leads software sustaining, escalation resolution, debugging, root-cause analysis, validation, release quality, and customer-specific fixes for Surfscan semiconductor inspection systems. Coordinates globally distributed engineering, support, applications, service, and escalation teams. Drives automation, diagnostics, regression testing, deployment readiness, documentation, and reliability improvements. Provides occasional customer-site and off-hours support, including domestic and international travel for critical escalations and deployments.

Lead end-to-end mechanical and opto-mechanical design for semiconductor inspection systems: define requirements, perform structural/modal/thermal/CFD analyses, optimize vibration isolation, drive concept development, prototype, validate, and manage manufacturing handoff and cross-functional collaboration.

Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments for sensitive equipment, prepare export/import documentation, liaise with carriers and stakeholders, maintain metrics, assist packaging and warehouse support, and ensure compliance with handling and shipping procedures.

Lead application development and medium-sized projects for semiconductor metrology products. Create and evaluate characterization and field test plans, diagnose and resolve complex customer issues, develop application procedures, documentation, and training, own demos, and represent applications for PLC projects. Support alpha/beta testing, data quality review, and develop best-known methods for pre-release and existing products.

Manage spares demand planning across product lifecycles to meet fill-rate and service targets. Analyze demand signals, validate system recommendations, drive corrective actions for excess/no demand, collaborate cross-functionally, present supply chain solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement and reporting.
