Own end-to-end global sourcing strategy for critical electric vehicle spend from concept through launch. Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, cost modeling, make-versus-buy analysis, supplier performance, and resilient dual-source strategies. Partner with engineering and suppliers on technical roadmaps, automation, robotics, geopolitical risk, tariffs, and trade compliance. Develop Tier 1 and Tier 2 supply bases while shaping supplier management systems, should-cost methodologies, and AI-enabled analytics.

Manage enterprise data-use requests and privacy reviews while supporting data governance, security, access management, and regulatory compliance. Analyze data using BigQuery, Alteryx, R, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Collaborate with legal, business, security, risk, and technology stakeholders to implement privacy safeguards, support GDPR and CCPA audits, improve governance processes, and ensure responsible data use across Ford.

Design and govern Ford’s product-centric data platform architecture on GCP. Lead streaming pipelines, APIs, schema governance, data modeling, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containerized services, and reusable developer frameworks. Establish technical roadmaps and architectural standards while mentoring data engineering teams and improving developer experience. The role requires extensive experience with cloud data platforms, Python, SQL, Java or Go, streaming technologies, Spark, Airflow, Terraform, and container orchestration.

Develop and validate occupant safety CAE models in LS-DYNA across frontal, side, rear, pedestrian, roof-strength, and low-speed impact scenarios. Collaborate with vehicle safety, design, suppliers, and component teams to correlate models, conduct DOE/DFSS optimization studies, assess occupant performance, and optimize safety components including airbags, seat belts, seats, steering columns, and interiors. Support vehicle architecture development, design reviews, simulation quality procedures, and production launch.

Design and validate high-speed digital circuitry and subsection layouts for vehicle modules. Create schematics and documentation, perform worst-case and failure-mode analysis, define stress tests, validate performance across temperature/voltage extremes, troubleshoot root causes, and collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing teams and suppliers. Occasional travel required.

Develop and integrate embedded software for Ford’s next-generation electric vehicle infotainment platform. Responsibilities include designing complex features, collaborating with hardware and systems teams, creating diagnostic tooling and interfaces, integrating controller code, developing functional tests, troubleshooting embedded systems, and analyzing field data. The role requires expertise in C, C++, Python, RTOS, Linux, concurrent systems, and automotive networking, with opportunities to lead cross-functional technical efforts.
