Leads the technical strategy, architecture, and lifecycle of enterprise threat detection capabilities. Leads UX research strategy for Target’s Middle Mile warehouse experiences. Conducts mixed-method research across workflows, products, and platforms; synthesizes qualitative findings, analytics, and operational data; and translates insights into product strategy and measurable improvements. Partners with UX, Product, Technology, Data Science, Process, and Supply Chain teams, facilitates alignment, influences stakeholders, mentors researchers, and advances inclusive, human-centered research practices.

Design user experiences for Target’s search and recommendations products across web, mobile web, and native apps. Participate in discovery, ideation, research, wireframing, user flows, UI design, prototyping, testing, and production delivery. Collaborate with senior designers, product, research, and engineering teams while using qualitative and quantitative insights to create accessible, intuitive shopping experiences that support guest needs and business outcomes.

Develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable frontend web applications for Target’s retail merchandising experimentation platform. Build reusable, accessible, responsive components using web technologies and frontend frameworks, integrate APIs, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders while supporting reliable operations, automation, incident management, and continuous technical improvement.

Designs, builds, and productionizes AI-powered applications using LLMs, agentic architectures, retrieval patterns, model APIs, and enterprise AI platforms. Partners with product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, from prototyping through deployment and operations. Develops reusable APIs, SDKs, frameworks, and reference implementations; evaluates emerging AI technologies; resolves complex production issues; and provides technical mentorship and architectural guidance.

Leads complex, cross-functional Disaster Recovery and technology resilience programs. Develops recovery strategies, roadmaps, governance, dependency-aware plans, tabletop exercises, validation activities, executive reporting, and risk-management processes. Connects application recovery to business capability recovery while coordinating engineering teams, dependencies, resources, tradeoffs, and measurable outcomes. Builds stakeholder partnerships, removes roadblocks, and translates technical risks into actionable plans and decisions.

Designs and leads scalable AI-ready backend services for Target’s Circle Card application. Responsibilities include building AI-powered and agentic systems, LLM workflows, RAG solutions, Kotlin and Java microservices, REST APIs, Kafka-based distributed systems, PostgreSQL databases, and cloud-native infrastructure. The role leads architecture, code and design reviews, observability, testing, disaster recovery, technical troubleshooting, and mentoring while driving responsible AI, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Develop and maintain Target’s flagship Android shopping app, building customer-facing features for Content or Drive Up/Pickup experiences. Responsibilities include architecture, feature development, testing, performance optimization, prototyping, production monitoring, issue resolution, technical evaluation, and collaboration with product, design, backend, iOS, QA, data, and store operations teams.
